We all owe a debt of gratitude to those individuals in our Armed Forces who serve and protect us. Over the years, they have made many sacrifices on our behalf and continue to do so today. They do not serve alone. Their families serve beside them. They do their jobs, no matter how difficult. We have a job, too, and it is to support them in words and deeds.

AFSC was organized in March, 2006, TO MAKE THE LIVES OF MILITARY FAMILIES LESS DIFFICULT. It is a non-partisan, non-political 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. Initially, our primary concern was for those members of our Armed Forces (past & present) and their families from Southwestern Colorado and the Four Corners Area. We ascertained that families living in these remote areas do not have access to assistance, which would otherwise be available if they lived closer to a military installation. Southwestern Colorado and the Four Corners Area continue to be our primary geographic focus; however, we have provided assistance in other parts of the country and will continue to do so as we identify needs. In the meantime, expanding our network is an ongoing objective.
